New Moderator;; I'd like you all to welcome your new mod, Kitty! I know, kinda random, but it's just that I've been needing a little help and Kitty's the one that's been here even when it was dead-ish over the summer. She's been a big help and I wanna give her a respective position in our little community. Again, we're not that big yet, but I promise we will be! =] Welcome Kitty to the Firebolt Staff! YAY!

[ ]Classrooms (13 sub-boards)
You will find all the sub boards in this board are each a classroom.
12
[ ]Slytherin Common Room
Entrance is a hidden door in a blank stone wall, opens by password. A labyrinth of corridors separates this entrance from the stone staircase leading up to the Entrance Hall.
00
[ ]Hufflepuff Common Room
Located in the basement near the kitchens, down the staircase to the right of the main staircase in the Entrance Hall.
00
[ ]Kitchens
The Hogwarts kitchens are located directly below the Great Hall and are just the same size. They have high ceilings and a great brick fireplace at one end. Mounds of brass pots and pans are heaped around the walls. There are preparation tables directly below the four house tables in the Hall above, and when the time comes for the food to be served, it is magically transported through the ceiling of the kitchen onto the plates. The kitchens are staffed by over a hundred house-elves. To get to the kitchens, take the door to the right of the main staircase in the entrance hall. Follow the corridor until you come to a painting of a bowl of fruit. Tickle the pear and it giggles and becomes a door handle.
118
[ ]Entrance Hall
Double oak front doors, opening to the west. Large, cavernous room, lit by torches, with ceiling so high it's barely visible. Wide marble staircase opposite the front doors (east wall) leads up to first floor. Double doors to the right (south wall) lead into the Great Hall. On the east wall are two doors, one on either side of the staircase. To the north of the staircase is a door leading down a flight of steps to the first dungeon level.
00
[ ]Great Hall
Vast chamber with an enchanted ceiling that mirrors the sky outside. Four long tables for the four houses. Closest to the doors from the Entrance Hall is Slytherin, then Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, and next to the far wall, Gryffindor (this order may possibly be reversed, depending on how you orient the room to the entrance hall). The teachers sit at the High Table, a table on a raised platform at the front of the room.
118
[ ]Hospital Wing
Lots and lots of beds with white sheets, privacy screens.
00
[ ]Trophy Room
Hogwarts has a trophy room where all the old awards, trophies, statues, cups, plates, shields, and medals are kept in crystal display cases. There is also a list of all the head boys and girls.
00
[ ]The Library
The Hogwarts library contains tens of thousands of books on thousands of shelves. Included in its many sections is an Invisibility Section, a section with information about dragons, and a Restricted Section at the back, set off with a rope. A signed note from a teacher is required to peruse that section of the library; it contains books of Dark Magic only used by older students studying advanced Defence Against the Dark Arts.
129
[ ]Prefect's Bathroom
Inside, the bathroom's walls, floor, and single sunken bathtub are all made of white marble, lit softly by a candle-filled chandelier that impressed Harry on his first visit. The rectangular tub is the size and depth of a swimming pool, and even has a diving board, but unlike an ordinary pool the tub is lined with about a hundred taps, each with a differently coloured jewel set into the handle. Each tap automatically releases not only water, but bubble bath (a different kind of bubble bath for each colour-coded handle). A pile of fluffy white towels are kept in one corner.
00
[ ]Room of Requirements
The Room of Requirement is a magical room which can only be discovered by someone who is in need. It is called the Come and Go Room by the house-elves of Hogwarts. The Room is located on the seventh floor, opposite a tapestry showing Barnabas the Barmy trying to teach trolls to dance the ballet. To make the Room appear, a person has to walk past the section of blank wall three times concentrating hard on what is needed.
116
[ ]Gryffindor Common Room
Located on the east side of the castle.
341
[ ]The Owlery
The Owlery was a circular stone room, rather cold and drafty, because none of the windows had glass in them. The floor was entirely covered in straw, owl droppings, and the regurgitated skeletons of mice and voles. Hundreds upon hundreds of owls of every breed imaginable were nestled here on perches that rose right up to the top of the tower.
12
[ ]Ravenclaw Common Room
Located on the west side of the castle.
11
Hogwarts Grounds
[ ]The Courtyard
This is a nice place to just come and chat with friends. A lot of students roam out here in their free time.
14
[ ]Greenhouses
Herbology gets taught in the greenhouses. though when classes are not in play, students like to come and check out all the different type of plants.
13
[ ]The Forbidden Forest
To the east of Hogwarts castle is a large, dark forest. This forest is strictly off limits to Hogwarts student.
123
[ ]The Whomping Willow
The Whomping Willow is a very valuable, very violent tree planted alone in the middle of the school grounds.
13
[ ]The Black Lake
located to the south of the castle, which stands on a cliff overlooking the water.
22
[ ]The Lawns
sloping lawns lead down toward the forest and border the lake.
00
[ ]Quidditch Pitch
opposite side of the castle from the Forest. students come here to attend and play quidditch games and practice.
210
Hogsmeade Village
[ ]Gladrags Wizardwear
Clothier, with additional shops in London and Paris,
00
[ ]Hogsmeade Station
A "tiny, dark platform" where the Hogwarts Express ends its journey north from Platform Nine-And-Three-Quarters. The station is located near the lake, and from there a road extends around the lake to Hogwarts Castle. The station is actually quite a distance from the town itself, being on the opposite side of the Hogwarts grounds
00
[ ]Honeydukes Sweetshop
A sweetshop, owned by Ambrosius Flume and his wife, which is filled with "shelves upon shelves of the most succulent-looking sweets imaginable". In addition to the standard wizarding candy that is sold there, the owners also make their own fudge and chocolate. For obvious reasons, the shop is quite a popular destination for Hogwarts students when visiting Hogsmeade on the weekends.
19
[ ]Madam Puddifoot's
A small, cramped tea shop with decor on the tacky side of frilly (such as floating golden cherubs throwing pink confetti), located ust off High Street. The only Hogwarts students who seem to patronize the place are trysting couples.
00
[ ]The Shrieking Shack
Falsely rumored to be "the most haunted building in Britain," the Shrieking Shack is a favorite stop on any Hogsmeade visit.
00
[ ]The Three Broomsticks
A well-known inn and a frequent haunt of Hogwarts students. It's warm and comfortable, is packed every time Harry goes in, and is a great spot to drink butterbeer, although they also serve firewhisky, gillywater, mulled mead, red currant rum, and even cherry syrup and soda with ice and an umbrella.
00
[ ]Zonko's Joke Shop
Zonko's is a favourite place for Hogwarts students to shop. They carry "jokes and tricks to fulfill even Fred's and George's wildest dreams," including Dungbombs, Hiccup Sweets, Frog Spawn Soap, and Nose-Biting Teacups.
